- Ethics and Compliance
At Louis Hachette Group, integrity, ethics and transparency are the fundamental principles that guide all our activities. We firmly believe that the trust of our employees, business partners, customers, shareholders and stakeholders is built on adherence to the highest standards of conduct and compliance.
The Anti-Corruption Code of Conduct
Corruption, in all its forms, is contrary to our values and undermines the sustainable development of our business. That is why the Louis Hachette Group maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards any act of corruption, influence peddling or any practice that contravenes applicable laws and regulations.
The purpose of this Anti-Corruption Code of Conduct is to support each of our employees and partners in identifying high-risk situations and adopting appropriate behaviour. It sets out the principles and rules that must be followed on a day-to-day basis in order to prevent, detect and report any situation that could undermine the integrity of our business activities.
Every employee is responsible for applying these principles in the course of their duties and must act with discernment, transparency and in an exemplary manner. In case of doubt, it is essential to seek advice from the relevant teams and to use the reporting mechanisms provided.
By adopting this Anti-Corruption Code of Conduct, the Louis Hachette Group reaffirms its commitment to conducting its business in a responsible and ethical manner, in compliance with legal requirements, wherever it operates.
Ethics Line
As part of its ethical approach and regulatory obligations, the Group has implemented a unique whistleblowing mechanism, applicable to everyone, everywhere: the “Ethics Line” online platform.
Ethics Line allows anyone who wishes to report actions that violate business ethics related to the Group’s activities. Its use is governed by the reporting procedure, available on the platform, which employees are encouraged to familiarize themselves with. Ethics Line is accessible online at the following address: lagardere.whispli.com/ethicsline/?locale=en
